No pics around here!

I had the flu this weekend! Yuck!! Thankfully I am on the mend, and should be back to 100% tomorrow! I spent all day Saturday in the bed! Josh had full-time daddy duty! He and Delanie spent the entire day playing and catering to me! Sunday, I was at least out of bed.....but still needing to lay around! Today was much better, I even cooked dinner! (well let me say the crock pot cooked dinner!) So, life is back to normal in the Ward household!
I hope to post a few Thanksgiving posts later this week! Oh, and we will be decorating for Christmas too, can't wait!!!

Silly Girl!

On Sunday night, we headed to my Mom and Dad's to celebrate the birthday's this month and Thanksgiving, since we will all be apart! My Mom cooked a wonderful dinner, it was so good!!! Delanie ate almost everything on her plate.....turkey, sweet potatoes, dressing, macaroni and cheese, and some of a roll! That is my girl!!
The kids played and took baths, but one of Delanie's favorite things to do is to put on my Mom's reading glasses......she looks so cute in them, I just had to share!

Delanie's bad cough is still here, she has basically had a cough her entire life! After another trip to the Dr.'s office we are now investigating the cause! But, the most prominent problem is her double ear infection.....yes you heard me.....double ear infection! Josh and I had no idea, some kind of parents we are huh! She has had many illnesses and never once an ear infection, so we did not even suspect one! D is now on meds and we hope she continues to get better this week! As for the cough, it is a work in progress!

Playdate with Brax......

Brax is so tall and so cute!!

Last Friday, Delanie and I met my friend from high school, Val, and her son Brax! We took the kids to Paradise Park and had a blast! It is still a bit over their heads, but we managed and they had a great time exploring!

Enjoying the water station!

After paradise park, Val and Brax headed to our house for more play time! Val got some great pics of the kids about to kiss and hug each other! I think Delanie enjoyed it, ha, ha! To see these photos check out Val's blog.....you can link to it from our blog.....Team Hill!

Daddy's girl!

Daddy reading to Delanie while home for a quick lunch!

My awesome husband continues to amaze me as Daddy to our precious girl! I knew he would be a great Dad, no doubt, but he has already exceeded my expectations and continues to amaze me everyday! Delanie is in love with her Daddy, isn't that the way it should be :) She asks about him at least 5 times a day and I remind her that he is at work, but will be home soon!

We have a very routine week around here, Delanie has a terrible cough, which is not out of the ordinary for her! So, sleep has been quite interesting around here.....but she is napping now and has been for almost 3 hours! I am not quite sure what to do with myself!

Hopefully she is going to get well by the end of the week, so she can meet her future boyfriend Brax for a play date!

Halloween Pics!

Delanie, our little ladybug, had a fun Halloween night.....despite the fact that she is cutting more teeth and a bit crabby!! We made several stops to see our family and friends. First we went by Aunt Jenny's (AKA, Nenny's) and Uncle Nate's to take pics with D's cousin's Payton and Cade......they were so cute. Cade was a rapper and a cute one at that and Payton was a beautiful witch! After that, we headed to see Grandma Di Di.......we played for a few minutes then headed to pick up Nana so we could catch up with Aunt Shelley and cousin Mason to take a few pics. Mason was of course a very cute Batman!! We tried to get a few pics with Mase, but Delanie was not being very cooperative!! We ended our night hanging out with Mr. Lee and Miss Casey!! Delanie loves their house!! I have always heard that their neighborhood has many kids, but I have truly never seen so many out.......it was like someone opened the gate!! I am pretty sure Lee and Casey did not sit down the whole night because they were constantly handing out candy!

All of the guys in my family were in a fishing tournament this weekend.....so it was just us girls having fun!
A big thanks to Nana, who helped with D the whole weekend while Daddy was away! We had fun shopping and playing together!

More to come later this week......we have a play date with our future boyfriend....Brax!!
